THE BIBLE IS GOD'S LETTER

When a Boss wants to send a letter he will dictate it to his secretary. He or she types the letter on to the computer and when she has made sure the print-out is just what the Boss told her, she sends it  to the person it is meant for.

God’s letter was written a bit like that.

He gave ideas and words to many different writers and they wrote them down.

That letter from God is THE BIBLE.

That is why Christians often call the Bible :
"The Word of God".  It is God's thoughts, dictated to men and written down by them.

God has lots of things to tell us about Himself, about the universe we live in and about how we can have Him as our Best Friend.  That makes the Bible a very big book - in fact it is more like a library of books.
